JOB SUMMARY:
WABI TV5 in Bangor, Maine has an immediate opening for a full-time weekday producer. The ideal candidate will have excellent news judgment, communication and writing skills, a strong commitment to journalistic ethics, and the ability to create compelling newscasts and stories across multiple platforms.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
-Strong writing and editing
– Solid news judgment
– Assisting with posting of digital & social media content
– Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
– Filling in for other producers
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Degree in journalism/electronic mass media preferred
– Proficiency in ENPS, Final Cut Pro, TVU and other newsroom platforms a plus
