Say “Happy 200th Birthday” to Maine over a baked bean supper in downtown Ellsworth, Maine on March 14.
ELLSWORTH – Heart of Ellsworth is celebrating Maine’s 200th birthday in true Maine style with a classic baked bean supper! Open to all ages, the community will salute our beloved state with traditional foods donated by Hannaford, period-specific live music, family games, and a cash bar featuring Airline Brewing Company beer.
The Maine Bicentennial Baked Bean Supper will be held on Saturday, March 14 from 5-7 pm at 142 Main Street in downtown Ellsworth. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased at the door by cash or check.
Cara Romano, Executive Director of Heart of Ellsworth said, “Our board of directors is very excited about Maine’s bicentennial and are pitching in to make this a fun event for all ages in our downtown.” She continued, “We look forward to celebrating Maine with the Ellsworth community!”
