Opening Night Party and Dinner at the Ellsworth Antiques Show at Woodlawn
Ellsworth – A perennial favorite summer event, the Opening Night Party and Dinner at Woodlawn’s Ellsworth Antiques Show will be held under the tent on Wednesday, August 15. Sponsored by Skinner, Inc., this year’s festivities will offer music by Grammy award winner Paul Sullivan and the opportunity to experience a Farm to Table themed dinner, elegantly prepared by Chipper’s Restaurant of Hancock, Maine.
Party-goers on Opening Night will be the first to preview the extraordinary antiques and decorative fine art while enjoying hors d’oeuvres, specially selected wines and local beer brewed for the event by the Airline Brewing Company of Amherst, Maine. Cocktail party hours are 5:00pm to 7:30pm and tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple. Tickets can be purchased online at woodlawnmuseum.org or at the door.
Immediately following the Opening Night Party at 7:30pm, guests can stay and join show dealers for a Farm to Table Dinner paired with fine wines. The combined Opening Night Party and Dinner tickets are $135 per person or $250 per couple. A table for eight can be reserved for $850. Seating for the dinner is limited to 75 and tickets are now available online at woodlawnmuseum.org, along with the full menu.
Woodlawn’s executive director, Joshua Torrance says “Opening night is always my favorite night, the energy is palpable and the sales are brisk. Building upon last year’s sold out Opening Night, ticket sales are robust this year and we anticipate a full house.”
