West Bay Acadia RV Campground welcomes discerning campers wanting immersion in nature with the comforts of home. Owners Rob and Peggy have turned their decades of camping experience into a wonderfully unique experience their customers rave about. They have created a camping heaven designed to provide a personal, non-intrusive approach to creating customized memories that will last a lifetime.
West Bay Acadia replaces the usual disappointments of campgrounds built in the past century with cramped sites, no water access, closer proximity to urban trappings than to nature, constrained power options, and promised wi-fi that may only work well at 2am. Instead, you get a pairing of modern technologies with the full glories of brilliant night skies (thanks to no artificial lights), the unobstructed view of and access to water, and the sights and sounds of a full range of big and small critters, surrounded by woods and trails.
Nature does not require any deprivation at West Bay Acadia. Your state-of-the-art broadband and full utilities make it comfortable and exceptionally easy to do remote work, home schooling, and engagement with those away from your Maine joys. Friends, family, and work colleagues will envy your ability to enjoy pristine vistas while attending to any demands that present themselves. One stay here and you’ll find it hard to camp anywhere else.
Located a half-mile from the intersection of Highways 1 and 186, you are within 15 minutes of trails at Acadia National Park-Schoodic and close to many excellent food establishments and skilled artisans. Sites are large (75×45), arranged in tiers so your view is of our beautiful bay (not your neighbor), have full hookups, with high speed Wi-Fi and business class broadband unavailable elsewhere.
