The Hancock County Higher Education Center offers local students the opportunity to earn a college degree without leaving Hancock County. We offer courses from the University of Maine System through the University College at the University of Maine at Augusta and Eastern Maine Community College. Onsite courses, ITV course and Video Conference courses are offered year round at the center as well as access to all  of the online courses offered through the University of Maine System. The Fall semester begins in September and the Spring semester starts in January.
