The Ellsworth Historical Society is an all volunteer group who loves our history. We are dedicated to preserving our past through the collecting  of Ellsworth historical archives and promoting  preservation by telling our history to all.

The Society  has the old jail museum which is currently being restored as well as the historical Chamberlin House in Ellsworth. We look forward to meeting new people, working with our community and spreading the history of Ellsworth.
