Bucksport Regional Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center with offices in Ellsworth and Bucksport. BRHC provides medical services, dental (Bucksport only), specialized treatment of venous conditions (Ellsworth only), and behavioral health services to everyone, including the uninsured and underinsured, regardless of their ability to pay. BRHC also offers a Medication Assisted Treatment program for people with substance use disorder.
Walk-in care is available in Bucksport Monday through Saturday. There is a sliding fee scale available to eligible patients. MaineCare, as well as other insurances, are accepted. They will assist uninsured people with enrolling in the Health Care Marketplace and help with the completion of other benefit forms.
But that’s not all. BRHC takes a “patient-centered” approach to their treatment plans. This means the patient is at the center of the care team and works with the provides as an active participant in his or her care. This collaboration between patient and providers and clinicians ensures the best possible outcomes.
