Maine Coast Memorial Hospital Kicks-Off 2018 Community Health Forums – Sponsored by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust
Ellsworth– Maine Coast Memorial Hospital (MCMH) is pleased to kick off a series of Community Health Forums for 2018. These free community outreach programs are designed to bring information and education on a variety of health topics, procedures, and therapies to our patients, friends, and neighbors. MCMH is thrilled to have the support of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, who generously is sponsoring the forums throughout the year. The funds will help defray the costs of offering the educational programs.
The first Community Health forum sponsored by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust will be presented by Physical Therapist, Cadie Saucier. Saucier has extensive training for treatment of pelvic floor disorders, and has a passion for helping people. The presentation will focus on Pelvic Rehabilitation for women, men, and children who are looking to regain control over pelvic and abdominal symptoms, enhance quality of life and return to physical activities. Saucier describes the therapy as “natural, non-surgical treatments that aim to train the body how to help itself.” This presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 3 at 5:30 pm in the MCMH classroom. Please call 664-5337 or visit mcmhospital.org to register for the free event. Light refreshments will be served.
Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s support for the MCMH Community Health Forums is critical. “The ability to offer free education and outreach to our community is something that is very important to us,” explains Kelley Columber, Director of Communications. “We know that many who attend our forums are appreciative of the opportunity to get specific health information that’s important to them and they enjoy the chance to have access to our providers in a casual, friendly environment.”
