LOCAL BAND ARCHIPELAGO CELEBRATES THEIR NEW CD RELEASE IN CONCERT AT THE STONINGTON OPERA HOUSE

 STONINGTON— Opera House Arts (OHA) is thrilled to host local band Archipelago as they celebrate their new CD release with a concert at the Stonington Opera House on September 18 at 7pm. Tickets are $10.

Archipelago performs a unique mix of original acoustic folk and jazz inspired songs, seasoned with traditional fiddle tunes. Tasteful vocal harmonies, with tight instrumental accompaniment is what gives strength and a signature sound to this engaging band from Stonington, ME. Their songs reflect heartfelt passions and both local and global concerns, woven with story and humor.

The band includes members Cindy Coombs (vocals and percussion), Frank Gotwals (guitar and vocals), Dave Quinby (bass), and Geoff Warner (guitar, vocals and fiddle).
