Ellsworth – Leadership Hancock County, now in its 8th year of providing leadership education to the area with a program that brings education and economic awareness to a class made up of business professionals and owners.  The program runs from January to May with six full-day classes, an orientation half day, and a graduation celebration.

The educational content is led by facilitators in topics such as communication, time management, conflict resolution, presentations, effective meetings and more.  Each class takes place in a business or organization around Hancock County, and the afternoon is spent getting to know that business, their challenges and successes and leadership stories.

Over 40 businesses, government, and non-profit organizations have hosted a class of Leadership Hancock County. Area businesses have sent over 100 employees and owners to the program.
