Healthy Acadia has been selected as a beneficiary of the Shaw’s GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program for the month of March.
The Shaw’s GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS, which launched in April 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work. Healthy Acadia was selected as the March 2020 beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Ellsworth Shaw’s store located at 175 High Street. Healthy Acadia will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Bag is purchased at this location during the month of March unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
“We are so honored and appreciative to be selected as a Shaw’s GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program beneficiary by the team at the Ellsworth Shaw’s store,” said Shoshona Smith, Healthy Acadia’s Development Director. “We love that community members can purchase such a useful everyday item and support our community health programs at the same time!”
