Healthy Acadia Celebrates Selection as a Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program Beneficiary
Healthy Acadia has been selected as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for the month of December.
The Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program, which launched in April 2014, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work. Healthy Acadia was selected as the December, 2019 beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Bar Harbor Hannaford located at 86 Cottage Street. Healthy Acadia will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during the month of December.
“We are so honored and appreciative to be selected as a Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program beneficiary by the team at Bar Harbor Hannaford,” said Shoshona Smith, Healthy Acadia’s Development Director. “We love that community members can purchase such a useful everyday item and support our community health programs at the same time!”
