Hancock County DA’s Office Administrative Assistant Search
The Hancock County District Attorney’s Office has an opening for the position of full time Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary. This position is a managerial position which requires good office management skills and supervisory experience to ensure precise and accurate operation of a legal office. The desirable applicants will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, or have 4 years experience working within the legal field. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the following duties: to supervise employees, process payroll, update and be familiar with the trio program, excel, and other word documents, maintain DA accounts, order office supplies, organize court events such as Grand Jury, prepare documents for the DA and other Prosecutors, and work with County and State Offices including HR. The right individual will have the ability to work independently, prioritize duties and transition from one task to another based on the requests of the DA and the needs of the office.
