The Grand Announces Its Next Theatrical Production- Lewis Carroll’s Alice: Down the Rabbit Hole

ELLSWORTH – The Grand continues its grand tradition of live community theater with an exciting new piece based on Lewis Carroll’s “Alice” stories- Alice: Down the Rabbit Hole. The play will run one weekend only –  Friday, November 17th through Sunday, November 19th, 2017. Tickets are on sale now at the box office, by phone, or online at Ticket prices for reserved seating are $12 for Adults/Seniors and $8 for Youth (12 and under.)

Written by Executive Director Nick Turner and directed by Education Director Jasmine A. Ireland, the dramatic trip through a wondrous world will feature integrated dance compositions in partnership with Northern Lights Dance Studio and an original score by Mark Tipton. Things will get curiouser and curiouser. Following the standard set by such Grand productions as its smash hits Monty Python’s Spamalot, Disney’s Mary Poppins, Aaron Sorkin’s The Farnsworth Invention, Mel Brooks’ The Producers, Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None and Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, Alice: Down the Rabbit Hole features some of the best regional and local talent as it takes you into Wonderland. The acting cast includes Grand veteran performers and newcomers: Tyler Costigan, Angela Bonacasa, Veronica Young, Emory Robotham, Deb Ashmore, Telly Coolong, Michelle Dokka, Josh Torrance, Nick Hansen, Whitney Pierson, Sophie Torrance, Savannah Hasham, Harlan Mahoney, Emma Kohr, Finley Harmon, Rose Kazmierczak and Faye Durrand-McDonell. The production team includes both Grand vets and newcomers as well- Shelbi Werner is the Choreographer;  Joe Lewis is the Scenic Designer; Garrett Harris is the Projection Designer; Nick Turner is the Sound Designer; Rebecca Wright, Deb Ashmore and Jasmine Ireland provide costumes for the production; Cody Harper is Board Op.
