FULL-TIME LEGAL SECRETARY HANCOCK COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE

The Hancock County District Attorney’s Office is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Legal Secretary.  The Legal Secretary is responsible for maintaining files, maintaining court docket lists, and working with DA office Attorneys to meet discovery requirements. The Legal Secretary answers incoming phone calls, works with individuals who come to the office to pay fees, greets Defense Attorneys, and works with the public. This is a clerical position which requires good time management skills, attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team, and a knowledge of general computer programs. Previous Paralegal experience is preferred but not required.  We will train the right individual. Pay will commensurate with experience.
