FREE TOBACCO CESSATION CLASSES COMING TO BLUE HILL
Blue Hill – Healthy Acadia is thrilled to be partnering with the Maine Cancer Foundation to offer a free, 4-week tobacco cessation group course in Blue Hill this summer, using the American Cancer Society’s Fresh Start curriculum.
The classes will provide evidence-based tools and resources in a supportive, fun environment to help people quit tobacco and stay tobacco-free. The class will be held at Tradewinds in Blue Hill on Thursdays, from 9 am to 10 am, beginning August 2 and continuing through August 23, 2018. The 4-week course is free and open to the public; registration is required. There will be an opportunity for individuals to continue with additional support in a one-on-one environment after the group class curriculum is completed.
Space is limited – register soon! To register or for more information, contact Healthy Acadia Community Health Coordinator Julie Daigle at 667-7171 or [email protected].
