Flamenco and Folk-Classical Music at SATB This Weekend
SURRY- Surry Arts at the Barn(SATB) will feature internationally recognized flamenco guitarist Jonathan “Juanito” Pascual at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 1.
Pascual has been called a “flamenco phenom” by The Boston Globe. He blends traditional and contemporary flamenco with influences ranging from J.S. Bach to The Grateful Dead.
At 4 p.m. Sunday, July 2 pianist Annemieka and accordionist Jeremiah
McLane, will perform folk-inspired classical music. The Vermont-based couple’s repertoire includes the music of Astor Piazzolla, Edvard Gieg, and Anton Dvorak as well as the McLanes’ original compositions.
SATB tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the door or online at the website surryartsatthebarn.com.
