Families First Community Center (FFCC), an Ellsworth-based 501(c) (3) organization is seeking an Executive Director. FFCC is taking on the cycle of intergenerational poverty and homelessness by providing a transitional residence, support and outreach services for homeless families with minor children in Hancock County.
The Executive Director will be responsible for recruiting and managing staff and volunteers, establishing and enforcing policies, managing the transitional housing facility and working collaboratively with other community agencies to provide high quality services to this vulnerable population.
The ideal applicant should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Services, Education or Business Management and 3-5 years experience in social services or non-profit management, as well as
demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communications skills. This position requires an empathetic, flexible, high-energy self- starter.
