CNA / Home Health Aide

Our Hancock County location has a great position for a certified nursing assistant/home health aide wanting to make a positive difference in someone’s life! You would be responsible for providing personal care to a designated group of pediatric and adult patients in their homes as directed by a Registered Professional Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist. In addition, you would be responsible for para-professional aspects of care, patient safety and installation of telehealth equipment in the patient’s home. Utilizing the latest information technologies and telecommunication systems, we provide you with a variety of experiences, ranging from caring for patients with medical/surgical needs as well as caring for patients with hospice and palliative care needs. In addition you would play an integral role in collaborating with other members of the patient care team.
Minimum Age=18 years old
Documented proof of completing education through ninth grade
Certification as a CNA on the Maine State CNA Registry
Certified as a HHA either through completion of an approved home health aide training course or through competency testing, and evidence of effective communication skills, using verbal, written and telephonic means
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance.
