Christmas at Woodlawn – A Celebration of Trees, December 1 to 23
Ellsworth – The trees will be lit and the holiday tea brewing as Woodlawn presents Christmas at Woodlawn – The Trees of Woodlawn, December 1 through 23. This annual custom is being offered in conjunction with Christmas in Ellsworth, A Maine Holiday – a collaboration of organizations working together to make this holiday season one to be remembered!
The Trees of Woodlawn will include decorated trees by nearly forty area businesses and organizations. According to Woodlawn’s executive director, Joshua Torrance, “The Black House will be bursting with holiday spirit this season as our tree count continues to grow. Decorating themes must change from year to year and we are excited to share the creativity of our community with our visitors.”
Woodlawn volunteer, Peter Lione, has once again created a masterpiece tree alongside the elliptical staircase. While heading to the second floor of the Black House, visitors will enjoy a bird’s eye view of this magnificently decorated 12-foot tree.
