Thinking about hosting a Business After Hours? Here is what you need to know.
Host site info:
The host site must safely accommodate up to 150 guests, with suitable parking, restrooms, and accessibility.
The host will provide food and beverages, including beer and wine, for 50-100 guests.
The Chamber will assist you with food recommendations, as well as catering lists, and information on providing alcohol at your location. (Off-site catering/bar licenses allow for charging for the alcohol) If your business intends to “purchase and pour”, you can not charge for the beverages. A selection of nonalcoholic beverages should be available as well. This is a private event, by invitation only, for chamber members and their guests.
The host business/organization is given a few minutes to address the gathering. This is your opportunity to speak about your company, any new info you want to share, etc.
Businesses may choose to provide the only door prizes for the event, otherwise, the chamber staff will assist you with this.
*Hosts may also present a non-profit organization; giving time for their organization to speak on their mission/needs. (long presentations, powerpoints, etc are discouraged, as this is a social event)
*A business is limited to one event in an 18-24month time frame.
