“Bee Parks and the Hornets” Buzzs Onto The Criterion Stage This Summer
Bar Harbor – The 1932 Criterion Theatre will host a summer-long run of “Bee Parks and the Hornets,” an original indie pop-rock band for all ages, presented by Barn Arts Collective.
Through high energy live original music, puppets, dance and audience interaction “Bee Parks and the Hornets” spreads messages of environmentalism, social justice and kindness and inspires young people to get up and move both with their feet and within their communities.
“I am so thrilled to bring our band to the Criterion! Each show will be a concert party celebration of our planet and our individuality,” said Brittany Parker, founding member of Bee Parks. “All ages are welcome and all dance moves are welcome too!”
Performances run 60 minutes and will happen at The Criterion each Thursday at 11 a.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. All tickets are $7 and will be available on Wednesday, May 2 at 10 a.m at criteriontheatre.org or at the box office starting 30 minutes before each performance. Rates and reservations for groups of ten or more are available upon request by emailing [email protected]. This show is made possible in part by the generosity of Galyn’s Restaurant and Destination Health.
