Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Presents Awards to Outstanding Employees for 2019 Achievements
Bar Harbor – Seven Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees were recognized for their outstanding contribution to the organization’s success during the bank’s annual all-employee meeting. The peer-nominated awards recognize employees whose behavior exemplifies Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s core values of Communication, Professionalism, Initiative, Quality, Positivity and Teamwork, which guide the actions of all employees and set the expectation for customers.
• Alain Boudreau, Trust Operations Supervisor, received the Salisbury Service Award.
• Alta Priest, Account Reconciliation Manager, received the Communication Award.
• Elliott Hale, Branch Relationship Manager, received the Professionalism Award.
• Scott Shields, AVP, Portfolio Manager, received the Initiative Award.
• Peter Swanberg, VP, Data Analytics Support, received the Quality Award.
• Carissa Look, VP, Quality Assurance Manager, received the Positivity Award.
• Lillian Lesmeister, Personal Banker, received the Teamwork Award.
Alain Boudreau received the Salisbury Service Award, the bank’s highest honor that recognizes outstanding service and helpfulness. Alain’s colleagues nominated him for his dedication to his team, excitement for change, and willingness to do whatever it takes to help the Bank and his colleagues be successful. Alain has been with the Bank for eight years and is located in Ellsworth, Maine.
Alta Priest received the Communication Award, which recognizes an employee who shares the right information clearly and quickly to build great relationships. Alta’s colleagues nominated her for her diligence with details and enthusiasm for learning from others. Alta has been with the Bank since 2018 and is located in Hampden, Maine.
Elliott Hale received the Professionalism Award, which recognizes an employee who treats others with care and respect. Elliott’s colleagues nominated him for his professional can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond in every situation for both customers and colleagues. Elliott joined the Bank in 2019 and manages the New London, New Hampshire branches.
Scott Shields received the Initiative Award, which recognizes an employee who continually works to improve the customer experience team development. Scott’s colleagues nominated him for being proactive both in learning processes and developing necessary tools to help those around him. Scott has been with the Bank for five years and is located in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Peter Swanberg received the Quality Award, which recognizes an employee who ensures the Bank adheres to the highest quality standards. Peter’s colleagues nominated him for his leadership in onboarding many of the Bank’s system platforms that have optimized the Bank’s performance. Peter has been with the Bank for 15 years and is located in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Carissa Look received the Positivity Award, which recognizes an employee who creates a rewarding and exciting place to work. Carissa’s employees nominated her for being a forward thinker who is always looking to improve processes and embraces challenges with ease. Carissa has been with the Bank for four years and is located in Ellsworth, Maine.
Lillian Lesmeister received the Teamwork Award, which recognizes an employee who builds great teams to make positive things happen. Lillian’s colleagues nominated her for her positivity, respectfulness, and willingness to fill in wherever she’s needed. Lillian joined the Bank in 2017 and is located in Randolph, Vermont.
