Ellsworth – Jack Frost, BHBT Director of Community Giving and Ruth Dunbar, BHBT V.P. and Trust Officer presented Mark Green, Ron King, and Joe Perkins of Downeast Community Partners (DCP) with a $5,000 donation from Bar Harbor Bank and Trust (BHBT) to support four of DCP’s programs. The programs supported are Everybody Eats School Meal Backpack program, transportation for Early Childhood Care and Education, Friendship Cottage Adult Day Service, and At Home Support for Aging in Place.
“These four programs exemplify DCP’s motto of providing lifespan opportunities in Hancock and Washington counties. Each of these programs relies heavily on community giving for sustainability, and so DCP appreciates BHBT’s generous support,” said Perkins.
“Downeast Community Partners has been a leader in developing programs that enhance the quality of life for those of all ages in our community. We are honored to provide support that further advances their capacity to deliver services to those in need,” said Frost.
