JOB SUMMARY:
This part-time job (25 hrs/week) entails helping to produce 2-and-a-half hour weekday morning newscasts and learning the producer’s role sufficiently to serve as a fill-in for that position. There are also opportunities to fill-in during other shifts. The job also requires posting materials to social media and station website.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
-Sending and taking video feeds
-Editing video for air and website
-Sending materials to newscast rundowns
-Timing newscasts
-Assisting with studio prep
-Posting materials to website and social media

QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational background in electronic mass media/journalism or related discipline – Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred
