Job Summary/Description: This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in Broadcast Journalism. It’s a part-time job that entails assisting in production of weekend evening newscasts. It also requires shooting, editing, and writing some stories as well as posting materials to social media and station websites. Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to): – Taking feeds
– Timing newscasts
– Shooting and editing
– Posting materials to website and social media
– Operating live backpack unit Qualifications/Requirements: – Educational background in electronic mass media/journalism preferred
– Experience with shooting and editing preferred
