Aging and Loss Support Workshop
Ellsworth – Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County is offering two spring series of the popular Aging and Loss program providing support for individuals who have experienced the variety of losses associated with aging. These losses may include the death of a spouse, family members and friends, impaired health, financial insecurity and changes in life roles. The losses associated with aging can result in uncertainty, loneliness, sadness and decreased self-esteem, but support is available to ease these challenges.
One workshop series will be offered on Thursdays beginning April 12, through May 17, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at the Friends in Action Senior Center in Ellsworth.
The second Aging and Loss series will be offered Tuesdays, April 10 through May 15, from 11:00 – 12:30 p.m. at the Frenchman’s Bay Library in Sullivan.
These workshops are free of charge, but pre-registration is required by April 3. To register, or for more information, call Janice Ronco at Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County, 667-2531, or visit hospiceofhancock.org.
