Aging and Loss Support Workshop
Ellsworth – Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County is offering another series of this popular new program with support for individuals who have experienced the variety of losses associated with aging. These losses may include the death of a spouse, family members and friends, impaired health, financial insecurity and changes in life roles. The losses associated with aging can result in uncertainty, loneliness, sadness and decreased self-esteem, but support is available to ease these challenges.
This next workshop will be offered on Thursdays beginning January 18, through February 22, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.at the Friends in Action Senior Center in Ellsworth. The workshop is free of charge, but pre-registration is required by January 11. To register, or for more information, call Janice Ronco at Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County, 667-2531, or visit hospiceofhancock.org.
