Afternoon High Teas Return to Woodlawn starting July 11
Ellsworth – Woodlawn invites you to experience the elegance and tradition of an afternoon high tea this summer. Dates are July 11,18, 25 and August 1 & 8. Teas start at 3:00pm and are held rain or shine. On rainy days tea is served in Woodlawn’s Sleigh Barn. September dates are also scheduled.
“We are thrilled to bring back this long-standing tradition and once again offer afternoon high tea alongside Woodlawn’s lush gardens,” said Joshua Torrance, Executive Director. Catered by Flexit Café and Bakery, this summer’s menu includes an assortment of finger sandwiches and sweets that are served with Woodlawn’s special tea blends. The cost is $22 for Woodlawn members and $25 for non-members and includes a self-guided audio tour of the Black House. As space is limited, pre-registration is required through the calendar at woodlawnmuseum.org
Woodlawn is an educational, cultural, and recreational treasure for the people of Downeast Maine. The main house is open for tours May 1 – October 31 and December 1-23.
