Acadia National Park draft Transportation Plan Presentation in Ellsworth June 19th
Ellsworth – Park Superintendent Kevin Schneider and Park Ranger John Kelly will be present the draft of ANP’s transportation plan to businesses and the public at Ellsworth’s City Hall Auditorium on Tuesday June 19th from 8-9:30 am. The Park’s transportation plan was released in May, and is in the public comment phase. Public comment ends on June 26, 2018.
“The Ellsworth Area Chamber and the City of Ellsworth feel that this information is as important ‘off island’ as it is on MDI.” States Gretchen Wilson Executive Director of the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce. “All of our traffic patterns, businesses and personal lives are truly affected by any changes the park makes to transportation.” The plan documents are available at the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce visitor center, as well as on line at www.go.nps.gov/acadiaplan
The presentation is free to the public and business communities. Please rsvp to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can plan seating.
