Ellsworth Public Library December Events

Ellsworth – Each month the Ellsworth Public Library hosts a wide array of events for the community. These range from learning activities to public speakers, talks on books, and programs for children. In addition to our usual events the library is pleased to announce two more programs taking place through out the season to help those in need.

“Food for Fines” – All of December

Library patrons can get their overdue fines forgiven by donating an equal value of non-perishable food items through the Food for Fines program, through the month of December; extending into early January due to our carpeting project. The food will be taken to Loaves and Fishes food pantry. Cash and Check donations to Loaves and Fishes will also be accepted.

Annual Wish Stars

Check out the bulletin board and select a star which has the title and purchase price of a “wished for” item at the Library. You pay for the item, we will do the purchasing.  A book plate with name can be inserted in the purchased item. This is a great way to honor your book lovers while giving a gift to the Library which will benefit the community.

For more information on these or other community events please call the Ellsworth Public Library at 667-6363.
