Bereavement Support Volunteer Training
Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County is pleased to announce a winter session of training for Bereavement Support Volunteers, for those who would like to support others who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The training will be held Wednesdays, January 4 – February 15, 2017, from 3:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the HVHC house in Ellsworth.
Training for Bereavement Support Volunteers includes extensive exploration of issues related to grief, communication and listening skills, supporting families and caregivers, and group facilitation. Volunteers who provide bereavement support through Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County are well-supported in their roles.
