Bar Harbor, Maine – Bar Harbor Bank & Trust invites you to play in the 24th Annual David Harding Memorial Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 6 at Kebo Valley Golf Club in Bar Harbor.  Hosted by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, the proceeds from this charity tournament benefit the Acadia Family Center in Southwest Harbor.

This is a scramble format tournament with a 12:00 noon shotgun start and is open to women and men.  Registration is $90 per person and includes golf cart, gifts, evening barbeque and prizes.  There are prizes for 1st and 2nd Gross, 1st and 2nd Net, Ladies 1st Net, and Mixed 1st Net – $2,200 in total!   There are two hole-in-one contests; one for a new Vespa Scooter from Stanley Scooters and one for a 2017 Buick Encore from Darling’s.  Golfers can expect lots of fun with skirts, a putting contest, and closest to the “trap” competition.  To register to play in the tournament, please call Cathy Planchart at 667-0660 x14655, go to any branch of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, or online at

Tournament proceeds will benefit the Acadia Family Center in Southwest Harbor.  They provide prevention, education, and outpatient treatment services for people affected by substance use disorders and related mental health disorders on Mount Desert Island and surrounding communities.  They offer a continuum of treatment services which include but are not limited to opioid dependency, PTSD, trauma, chronic pain as well as counseling for those affected by another’s addiction. Acadia Family Center also provides prevention education in local schools. They serve adults, adolescents, and families impacted by substance use disorders (alcohol and opioid addiction) and mental health disorders in a supportive and caring environment with a harm reduction treatment philosophy.
