2018 Winter Grief Support Groups
Ellsworth – Following the holidays, winter can be a time when lingering feelings of grief related to the loss of a loved one can surface and create a sense of emptiness. Providing a safe space to acknowledge those feelings and get support for moving through them, Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County announces the 2018 Winter Grief Support Group series.
Three general groups for those who have lost a loved one will begin in early January and run for eight consecutive weeks at the following times and places:
– Mondays, January 15 – March 5, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Bucksport Regional Heath Center, Bucksport
– Tuesdays, January 16 – March 6, from 11:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m. at the Bar Harbor Congregational Church, Bar Harbor.
– Mondays, January 15 – March 5, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County, Ellsworth.
Plus, one support group For Those Who Have Lost a Loved One to Suicide will also be offered Wednesdays, January 17 – March 7, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County, Ellsworth.
All groups are free of charge and require pre-registration one week prior to the start date.
