2018 Spring Grief Support Groups
Ellsworth – With spring around the corner, individuals may experience grief related to the loss of a loved one, which can surface during times of change and create a sense of emptiness. Providing a safe space to acknowledge those feelings and get support for moving through them, Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County announces the 2018 Spring Grief Support Group series.
Two general groups for those who have lost a loved one and one group for those who have lost an adult child will begin in early April and run for eight consecutive weeks at the following times and places:
– For Those Who Have Lost an Adult Child: Mondays, April 9 – May 28, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis by the Sea Church, Blue Hill
– For Those Who Have Lost a Loved One: Mondays, April 9 – May 28, from 11:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m. at the Bar Harbor Congregational Church, Bar Harbor.
– For Those Who Have Lost a Loved One: Mondays, April 9 – May 28, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County, Ellsworth.
All groups are free of charge and require pre-registration by April 2.
